DIRECTORATE OBJECTIVE:

1. Implementing Council’s Integrated Development Plan (IDP) as it relates to relevant programme.

2. Facilitating capacity building to Local Municipalities in the formulation of By-Laws, Standing Orders and Ward Committees.

3. Developing and managing the community participation policy and programme.

4. Developing and managing the Municipal Code.

5. Developing and managing the budget for the Council Secretariat.

6. Coordinate the activities in the Speaker’s office.
